Today, while I was walking the 5 miles from my home to downtown Jeffersonville, I thought about how strange it felt... to be passed in both directions by automobiles. Perfectly fine autos that all seemed to run very well. Much like the two vehicles that are parked in the driveway. In America we often look down upon those who seem to be without mobile transport. But, if you travel across the pond, to Europe, you will find that most people live in villages and travel mostly by foot. On occasion you will find a person that is somewhat overweight, but usually only by a few pounds. In America we feel lucky to have the luxury to drive everywhere we go. But with diabetes on the rise and so many other health ailments in America, I ask you, "Is it really a luxury or is it a curse?"
